R & D Planner / Expeditor

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

- Expedite parts to appropriate area in R & D
- Review drawings related to parts
- Develop Bills or Materials for projects and coordinate project timing with parts deliveries
- Determine timelines for long lead time items and/or unique requirements
- Coordinate tooling, fixtures, etc. to create a continuous work flow at each work station
- Utilize fork lift to retrieve and deliver parts to shop

**Job Requirements**

**Qualifications**:

- High School education
- Recent graduates of a trade or mechanical related program are also encouraged to apply
- Understanding of the R&D shop flow process
- Mechanical aptitude and parts knowledge
- Computer skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong team member skills
- Willingness to assist others in order to meet departmental deadlines
- Knowledge of tools and their proper use
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of sustained physical effort
- Previous fork lift experience is preferred. Or will train the right individual
- Must possess a valid driver's license
