Position: Surveyor/Technician

Purpose:
Integrated Engineering is a Saskatoon engineering consultant and part of the Acadia Group of companies. We are expanding our footprint in the Saskatchewan construction administration field and are looking for a Roadways Surveyor/Technician. Reporting to the General Manager, we are on the lookout for people that are a good fit to our culture and vision.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Operate GPS survey instruments and software
- Keep accurate field notes and prepare reports
- Perform intermediate and final survey for quantity, quality, and acceptance purposes during construction
- Establish or re-establish survey control
- Perform construction supervision
- Communicate with on site supervisor and contractor during project execution
- Quality control and quality assurance to company and client quality standards on a variety of construction projects
- Follow environmental and safety legislative requirements

Preferred Qualifications
- Civil Construction field and/or equivalent work/educational experience
- 2+ years of survey experience
- Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Drivers License
- Proficiency in CivilCAD
- Ability to travel to worksites across Saskatchewan as required

Experience/Skills Required
- Strong communication and organizational skills with an attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an active environment with mínimal supervision
- Ability to meet deadlines and tight schedules
- Commitment to a team environment with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
