KulKon Construction is a diverse, multidisciplinary contractor specialized in logístically challenging and complex public work projects.

We are looking for a full-time Sr. Estimator/Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maximizing the quote to order conversion ratio through accurate estimating, quoting in a timely fashion, and analyzing drawings and specifications. Ability to travel to project sites is essential.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor bid depositories and add relevant tenders to the bid board.
- Conduct bid/no-bid meetings with the management team to identify target projects.
- Review specifications, drawings, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
- Request bid bonds.
- Create sub-packages and reach out to subcontractors for pricing.
- Prepare discipline estimates by calculating complete takeoff of scope of work. Calculate material quantity.
- requirements from engineering drawing dimensions.
- Monitor client addendum and advise the estimating team on changes during the estimate period.
- Present and review the estimate with the management team.
- Lead estimate handover meetings for awarded contracts.

**Qualifications**
- 3+ years hands-on experience in the capacity of estimator.
- Must have extensive knowledge of civil construction drawings and specifications and be able to interpret them.
- Strong mathematical skills and a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Time management and strong prioritization skills to handle a fast-paced environment and multiple bid deadlines.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in quantity surveying, engineering, construction management or related field is an asset.
- Proficiency in estimating software such as B2W is an asset.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Highly developed interpersonal, and communicational skills; written and verbal.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Growing knowledge of alternative construction delivery methods.
- Experience with public tenders is an asset.

Pay: $75,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
