**The Role**:
Hi I'm Alan, and I'm the Vice President of Real Estate & Development. I am looking for a New Stores Opening Manager who will support the expansion of Mejuri's retail channel by building and leading a cross-functional NSO process.

This role will work closely with Expansion, Retail Field and Operations, Visual Merchandising, Planning, IT and other key departments to oversee preparation for and execution of store turnover for all new store locations in the US, Canada and Internationally. They will work cross-functionally to oversee deliverables, influence, and collaborate to ensure we achieve our desired targets and timelines. This individual will anticipate challenges and growth needs to successfully build, scale and execute against a rapid growth rate.

**What you'll do**:
**Pre-Turnover**:

- Build cross-functional project plans for each NSO and consistently work to understand the evolving needs of each cross functional partner.
- Administrate weekly meetings with key stakeholders to ensure tracking of project plans and deliverables.
- Administrate the cross functional supplies ordering process, operations supplies ordering, and supplies budget.
- Develop plans and recommendations for scaling NSO processes and systems. Proactively identify roadblocks to achieve objectives, improve output and ensure all areas of the department are working effectively and efficiently.
- Provide continuous and consistent feedback to and from all cross functional teams to aid in improving and optimizing store functionality with a focus on scale.

**Turnover Phase**:

- Oversee an on-site cross-functional project plan to ensure that each NSO is equipped to open and generate revenue on time.
- Ensure that:

- With partnership from on-site teams complete all key turnover tasks, including (but not limited to) ensuring that all inventory is inducted, all equipment is functional, all visuals props and systems are installed, and all supplies required for store operation are received.
- Turnover process is staffed appropriately via internal and external resources and all teams are executing tasks on time with excellent accuracy.
- All third-party vendors necessary for store operation including security, facilities and data have been secured and activated
- Daily updates are provided to cross functional leaders to ensure cohesive cross functional partnership in NSO turnover.
- Partner with Store Operations to ensure key objectives are achieved consistently, with a focus on staff workflow, storage, workspace setup, order fulfillment, technology, supply management and administration.

**Post-Turnover**
- Partner with Development Project Managers to ensure that all turnover items are documented and resolution is achieved within 1 month, post open.
- Develop and manage a post-mortem process to assess areas of improvement and provide leadership to enact change to continuously improve how we open and support our store teams.

- Ability to "cut through the noise" to effectively clear all roadblocks necessary to open our stores on time.
- Ability to hold business partners accountable for making decisions and meeting deadlines.
- A high level of comfort influencing and communicating to Senior Executives.
- Strong leadership and support to the stores team.
- Ability to drive project efficiency, accuracy, consistency and control costs across all new store opening activities.
- Ability to maintain a balanced New Store Opening budget.
- Ability to drive efficiencies and improvements in the NSO process which result in cost savings and consistent on-time opening.
