Shipper/receiver

**Key Responsibilities**
- Excellent forklift driver
- Key point of contact for all inbound and outbound logistics
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages - inventory control
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with established policies
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues
- Keep your working place clean and tidy at all times
- Act as a production float during downtime

**Skills and Competencies**
- Proven forklift experience
- Mathematical aptitude
- Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems (ERP software) such as Microsoft Great Plains and BatchMaster an asset
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- Thorough understanding of logistics procedures
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- Forklift Counterbalance license
- Must have been employed for at least 1 year in a similar role
- Above average computer & math skills
- Advanced use of the English Language - Spoken and written.
- Outgoing, positive, and enjoy collaborating with people.
- Above average communication and people skills
