Power Distribution Equipment Assembler

**Job Summary**
We are looking for an electrical equipment assembler who isn’t afraid to get their hands into the heart of our equipment. This role will require you to read schematics, select the appropriate components and connect them into the assemblies using the correct hand tools that fit the task.
**Responsibilities**:
- Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine materials required for electrical equipment assembly daily.
- Confirm location for all electrical components, including brackets, cables, switches, breakers, bus bars and wiring, per the engineering drawings.
- Perform mechanical work commonly associated with electrical work such as: altering electrical enclosures, installation of accessories, work on manufactured skids/ mounting platforms, etc.
Examples include manual transfer switches, generator quick connect stations, tap/splitter boxes, and company switches.
- Read and understand Bills of Material and wiring diagrams
- Ability to use power and hand tools
**Job Skills and Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to sit, stand and tolerate repetitive movement and distracting noise levels
- Ability to use adjustable pliers and wrenches, digital calipers and wire cutting tools
- Three (5) years of electrical equipment assembly
