We are looking to hire a motivated medical administrative assistant at **Eterna Health**. Our clinic is located in Mississauga, Ontario. Our clinic Eterna Health is an innovative private clinic treating patients all around GTA and overseas Eterna Health is a global leader at the forefront of accelerating the world’s transition to the next generation of regenerative medicine by combining cell therapy, gene editing and tissue engineering. We are looking for a friendly **medical office administrative assistant** to join our team.

F/T MEDICAL ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - ($23.00-25.00/hr)

**As a member of our Care Team your primary responsibilities will be to**:

- Process all new incoming leads and referrals**
**- Process online payment for consultation fees**
**- Schedule virtual and in-person consultation appointments**
- Have a minimum of 1 year experience working in a busy medical clinic; experience with MSK/Sports Medicine (preferred)
- Strong customer service and problem solving skills
- Knowledge in medical softwares such as Accuro, PS SUITE, OSCAR, etc (preferred)
- Register and schedule patients in the Electronic Patient Record
- Ability to create medical files
- Efficient in softwares such as Microsoft word, Google Workspace, Excels
- Scheduling patients in correct format to align with clinic needs
- Communicate scheduled visits to appropriate individuals (referring physician, patient, etc.)
- Answer clinic-related phone calls and triage to appropriate staff member
- Experience working in MSK/Sports Medicine settings considered an asset
- Ability to work well under pressure and use good judgement in assessing difficult situations
- Comprehensive knowledge of health care, organisational/office practices, procedures and standards
- Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills with a firm grasp of the English language
- Ability to work effectively in an inter-professional team
- Excellent organisational, time management and multitasking skills
- Ability to work at a fast pace in a dynamic environment
- Demonstrates sensitivity to the needs of our diverse patient population
- Must demonstrate punctuality and an excellent attendance record

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday - Full Time (8 hours)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)
- Medical Office Administration (preferred)

Work Location:

- In person/ Remote

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
