**Primary Responsibilities**

In the role of Junior Environmental Planner, we'll count on you to:

- Collect, assimilate and manage project-related data for environmental science and planning-related studies
- Review mapping (GIS/CAD), studies and regulations, and assist in preparing environmental compliance documents
- Assist in preparation and participation of public/client meetings
- Assist senior staff in environmental task assignments
- Perform other duties as needed

**Qualifications**

**Required Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in Environmental Planning, Environmental Policy, Environmental Science or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience with similar work.
- Fluency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Powerpoint)
- Familiarity with Provincial and Federal Environmental Assessment legislation, including Ontario and/or Alberta EA and Environmental Protection regimes
- Class G Driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
