Glazier/glass Installer

Vancouver, Canada VIP Installations Ltd. Full time

VIP Window Installations Ltd. is looking for Glaziers/Glass Installers to install glass/windows in high rise buildings as well as perform service work. The duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Install transparent glass panels in frames to form exterior walls of buildings
- Replace glass using tools such as suction cups and heat gun, replace faulty sealant
- Assemble metal frames for glass installation, fit glass into frames
- Install pre-cut mirrors in gyms/lobbies/residential units
- Prepare and install skylights
- Repair and service residential windows, aluminum doors and vents
- Operate boom lift/swing stage/bosun chair or scaffold to access the glass from outside

We need someone with at least 1 year experience as an aluminum window installer/glazier. Comfortable with working at heights is a must.

Location of work: Varies. Currently Vancouver, Burnaby and Richmond job sites
Terms of employment: Full time (40 hrs/week), permanent position

Wage: $28-32/hr depending on experience. Salary will be reviewed after 6 months of employment and increases (if any) will be made based on the performance.
