We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Trading Analyst to join our Non-Ferrous team in the scrap metal industry. The Trading Analyst will report to Giampaolo Group Inc.’s Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis and will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to the scrap metal market to provide valuable insights and recommendations to our organization. You will monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and optimization within the industry.

**What’s Expected**:

- Collect and analyze data on Non-Ferrous scrap metal pricing, supply and demand dynamics, and market trends
- Monitor economic factors that may impact the scrap metal market
- Develop forecasts and projections for scrap metal prices, demand and market behavior using statistical analysis (regression analysis, etc.)
- Prepare comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to the trading team
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support trading decisions
- Utilize statistical techniques and analytical tools to extract insights from large datasets

**What’s Required**:

- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in market analysis, preferably within the non-ferrous scrap metal or related industry
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in statistical analysis and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication skills with the capability to convey complex information clearly and effectively
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and make data-driven recommendations
