The British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (“BCCNM”) is the college empowered under the Health Professions Act to regulate the practice of all licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, registered midwives, registered nurses, and registered psychiatric nurses in British Columbia. The expected starting base salary for this position is $63,719 - 66,945 annually, depending on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience. Once hired, you will progress through a wider salary range over time as you continue to develop job knowledge, skills and competencies for the role.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Performs impact analysis and identify severity of system bugs.
- Perform regular data integration support tasks, encompassing systems such as CRC, Nursys, Prescription Pad, PLR, and Pharmanet.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of knowledge bases, FAQs, and user guides.
- Conduct standard SysAid configuration changes which includes dashboard, categories, and workflows.
- Analyze incoming ticket patterns to recommend operational enhancements and system modifications to development team.
- Assist in internal data audit investigations aimed at pinpointing the underlying causes of data inconsistencies, which may stem from human error, procedural issues, or system glitches.
- Offer phone support for IT-related concerns during business hours throughout the registrant renewal period (February to March).

**Your education & skills**:

- A bachelor’s degree in computer science or in Management Information Systems, or in a similar relevant field.
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience in systems analysis preferred
- Strong capacity and motivation to learn Information Systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Possess excellent time and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical users
- Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable, with the ability to adapt communications methods to audience needs
- Ability to take direction and to demonstrate initiative in generating and following through on tasks
- Knowledge of Quality Assurance testing practices is an asset
- Experience with CRM (i.e. MS Dynamics 365) systems and accounting systems is an asset
- Experience with project management tools (i.e. TFS) or issue management tools (i.e. SysAid) is an asset.
