Mount Pleasant Group of Cemeteries is a not-for-profit organization that has been caring for families in the GTA since 1826. We operate ten cemeteries, nine funeral centres and four cremation centres, all serving the distinct needs of the local communities where they are located. We are looking for a Family Service Clerk to join our team at Meadowvale Cemetery located in Brampton.
- Process memorial orders; create documents, receipts, invoices, foundation and setting orders etc.
- Maintain existing reports supporting the Team
- Create and process Purchase Orders
- Reconcile and prepare daily bank deposits and various reports when required
- Order and receive office supplies when required
- Maintain stock of collateral material as required
- Scan and index cemetery documents as required
- Ensuring all documents and arrangements are received and finalized
- Transfer and Allocation are received and filed
- Reconcile petty cash
- Relieve Receptionist as required
- Perform other sundry duties as assigned

**Hours/Days of Work**:

- Tuesday to Saturday
- 8:30am to 5:00pm

**Qualifications**:

- Commitment to detail and accuracy
- A valid Ontario “G” driver’s licence and acceptable driver’s abstract
- The successful applicant must obtain a Sales Representative Licence upon hire
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player
- Ability to multi-task in a busy office environment
- Experience working with MS Office as well as standard office equipment

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: From $22.17 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
