**Job Summary**

Launders linens to supply hotel, restaurants, facilities and wardrobe areas

**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Sort dirty linen including towels, sheets, pillow cases, bath rugs, blankets, table linen, mops and rags
- Opens, counts, washes and dries new linens
- Identifies wash and dry cycles and enters in automated system
- Loads and unloads washers and dryers
- Responds to system alarms and resets cycles based on alarm message
- Feeds linen into various machines for drying and folding
- Removes finished linen from conveyor
- Counts and stacks linen on linen carts
- Documents finished linen production as required
- Check and stocks linen carts and other supplies
- Delivers carts to hotel linen closets
- Loads/unloads trailer with linen and transports between hotel towers
- Performs other related tasks as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Grade 12 or Equivalent
- Ability to read and respond to messages in the automated laundry system
- Basic reading skills will be tested directly related to the duties of the job
- Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
- Ability to push, pull, lift and carry heavy loads on a continuous basis
- Able and willing to be trained on the operation and use of the "Husky Tugger" equipment
- Must successfully pass a standard testing and certification on the operation and use of the "Husky Tugger" equipment during the probationary/trial period
