**Position Summary**:
The City of Fort Saskatchewan is currently recruiting for dynamic and energetic individuals to join our team at the Dow Centennial Centre. Reporting to the Coordinator, DCC, Arenas & Taurus Field, the Facility Attendant will provide regular monitoring duties throughout the Dow Centennial Centre.

**Responsibilities**:

- include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure safe and orderly conduct throughout the building.
- Ensure customers have paid prior to participation in events.
- Setup and teardown of recreation equipment and assist with meeting/banquet rooms set up & tear downs.
- Monitor youth activities in the building, including the gymnasium during drop-in times, birthday parties and other events as required.
- Provide light custodial assistance.
- Assist with minor facility and ground maintenance.
- Maintaining positive public relations and providing assistance and information services to user groups.
- Responding to patron concerns in a positive and polite manner.
- Monitoring equipment and building conditions to ensure a safe recreational opportunity for clients.

**Qualifications**:
This position is within the scope of C.U.P.E. Local 30, and as such, you will be required to adhere to the articles contained within the Collective Agreement.

Hours of Work: day, evening, and weekend shifts

The number of hours of work per week may vary based on operational needs and cannot be forecasted.
