The Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Analyst provides leadership in the delivery of strategic insights into industry and macroeconomic trends impacting the frontline enablement software space, while also analyzing internal data sources to discover and showcase trends within our own business in regards to the larger market context.

You'll touch many key areas of the business, including Product Marketing, Strategy, Marketing, Sales, Product, Software Development and Professional Services. This position combines research, assessment, analysis and communications. The Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Analyst supports the day-to-day research and analysis conducted by the strategy and product marketing teams. Primary focus areas include reviewing and analyzing market trends, competitive research, win/loss analysis, analysts research, customer research, along with packaging and communication of these findings to internal audiences.

This is a 6-month contract with the potential to become a full-time permanent role.

**The things you'll do**:

- Core focus of the role is to produce regular strategic insights that showcase external industry and market trends, as well as summarize internal findings from our competitive review, win/loss assessment, amongst other inputs gathered from key stakeholders in the business regarding our place in an evolving market
- Creates and presents materials that clearly summarize market trends, competitive environments and key considerations / opportunities
- Work with Strategy and Product Management to provide relevant details and insightful market intel on new potential initiatives and investments
- Supports and/or drives research projects around market/vertical investigation, sizing, trends etc
- Measures and reports on program results and effectiveness
- Works and tracks within a defined budget
- Other duties as required.

**The things you bring**:

- ** Experience.** 5+ years of relevant experience in an analyst or product/solutions or related role - and familiarity with the tools and technologies that assist with market assessment and intelligence gathering/synthesis
- ** Skills.** Strong research and analytic skills, combined with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ** Ability to synthesize.** Able to synthesize a lot of information and present it in digestible ways both in writing and in presentation form
- ** Tech savviness.** Ability to pick-up and understand new technologies quickly
- ** Project Management** experience with the ability to work independently and under pressure with constant changes and deadlines
- ** Major plus. **Previous experience enterprise software and/or high tech solution providers is a major plus.
