**About the workplace**

This is a permanent, full-time role that will enjoy hybrid working arrangements which can be fulfilled primarily from the Vancity head office location and your Lower Mainland based home office. Periodically, you’ll be required to attend in-person activities or events.

**A typical day would involve**:

- Monitor and advise stakeholders on overall system health, performance, and availability of production environments so that service levels are Oversee the investigation of incidents where necessary and engage vendor support as required.
- Coordinate and authorize IT change requests so that changes are implemented in accordance with business requirements and configuration and release management procedures.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.

**You have**:

- Over 5 years of leadership experience in technology management, particularly in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on driving digital transformation and aligning technology solutions with business goals.
- The ability to work closely with product management internal teams, including enterprise architects and developers to deliver technical solutions.
- You know the banking industry and follow trends, technology, market, threats, and opportunities.
- Strong knowledge of business and financial concepts with proven experience in identifying and mitigating business risks early and effectively.
- A growth mindset and desire to continually learn, adapt, evolve, and contribute to the product management practice at Vancity.
- Advanced knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle and Azure DevOps technology

- **A Strong Communicator** - you use your strong communication and interpersonal skills to create clear understanding of expectations; address challenges and issues for the business unit; and represent the unit across the organization.
- **Organized & Systematic** - your planning and coordination skills develop solid operating plans, processes, methods and standards for a unit and help coordinate delivery of critical information in a timely manner.
- **Analytical & Decisive** - with your strong problem solving and decision making skills, you can diagnose challenges and issues; develop innovative investigative solutions; and to assess risks and opportunities that may affect the information security team.
