Mechanical Drafter

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Mechanical Engineering Technologies/CET/EIT
- Drafting Experience
- Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft programs, etc.
- Electrical/Plumbing/HVAC design experience an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Review mechanical drawings from the engineer to understand the building design and the operations of the building.
- Make changes to the AutoCAD drawings to best suit our companies' design practices and building standards, this includes design and operation changes.
- Coordinate with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing trades to ensure all building systems operate correctly and are designed to accommodate all trades.
- Coordinate equipment so it doesn't interfere with structural, fire protection, and architecture.
- Create specific details and schematics for mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Use architectural, precast, civil, and structural drawings to create and coordinate mechanical equipment placement.
- Maintain drafting standards to keep drawings consistent and neat within individual files and throughout the company.
- Use AutoCAD drawings to find and create information and details that can be used in the field to assist with construction.
- Communicate and coordinate with project managers to ensure drawings contain accurate information and specifications.
- Drawing distribution and organization.
- Completing as-builts and red line drawings.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
