Through strong partnerships with the academic sector, regulators, and government, the Interprofessional Practice and Learning team has an integral role in influencing and operationalizing health system priorities.

**About the Opportunity**:
This multi-faceted role encompasses curriculum/program development, implementation and evaluation. Program design, research, development, delivery, evaluation, advisory and disciplinary action as well as continuous quality improvement are mandated for both academic and clinical programming. Continuous professional development with clinical focus, academic advances and theory are critical to the role of an Educator. The responsibilities, integration and synthesis of this position must be in accordance with Accreditation Canada (EQual) accreditation standards and Dalhousie University academic governance. This position reports to the Director.

**About You**:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:

- Bachelor in Health Science or relevant degree required
- Masters Degree in health related discipline or education preferred
- Three years recent related clinical experience in nuclear medicine required
- Certification in BLS for Health Care Providers required
- Current active NSCMIRTP Nuclear Medicine Technologist license to practice required
- Current CAMRT Nuclear Medicine Technologist membership required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required
- PET/CT experience and/or specialty is an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of PET/CT and radiopharmacy theory and clinical practice is an asset
- Radiation Safety Officer credential an asset
- Activity and experience in research is an asset
- Experience with accreditation submission and/or survey considered an asset
- Demonstrated research capacity and productivity is considered an asset
- University level teaching experience is considered an asset
- Three years' experience as a preceptor, working directly with students in a clinical setting, is an asset
- Online teaching experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of the principles of adult teaching and learning and experience in facilitating learning activities is considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel/PowerPoint) is considered an asset.
- Competencies in other languages preferred, French an asset

$69,447 - $91,297 annually
$48.46 hourly ($94,492 annually) with 25 years' relevant experience
