**This position is Hybrid Ottawa.**

**Position Summary**

Thales is looking for a **VCT/MHS Subject Matter Expert**. This position will provide Thales Canada Defence & Security (TCDS) with a Subject Matter Expert advice and technical support on the VCT, BCMS, and MHS/MMHS projects, or on any other relevant areas.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**
- Provide assistance to the Team Lead for the Victoria Class Trainer Project. Assistance includes providing historical information on VCT, interface to the customer, help with Future Tasking and support for current Tasking (For the VCT (2182C)
- Provide assistance to the Technical Team Lead. Assistance includes providing historical project information on BCMS and support of project execution as required (For the BCMS project (2529P)
- Provide assistance to the Technical Team Leader. Assistance includes providing historical project information on MMHS and MHS, review of the MHS in the MKS (CM System). In additional walk through the Build Process (as detailed in the SPS) to create a release (For the MHS (1474R) and MMHS (JSS, 2462C).
- Provide Subject Matter Expert advice and technical support for other projects/proposals.

**Minimum Requirements**
- College-level or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent education with relevant experience.

**Special Position Requirements**
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Physical Environment: Hybrid position - which a mix of working from home and onsite
