System Integration Specialist

**Role and Responsibilities**:
- Work closely with the business teams and project stakeholders to understand their specific requirements, and design and implement systems integration solutions that meet their needs.
- Collaborate with software developers, and other technical teams to ensure that all systems integrate effectively
- Troubleshoot complex technical problems, and provide effective solutions to resolve issues
- Perform regular maintenance and testing on integrated systems, ensuring that they are operating efficiently and effectively
- Maintain documentation and ensure that all systems are well-documented and updated on an ongoing basis
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in systems integration, and provide recommendations for process improvements and innovation
- Maintain and support internal and third-party software packages and escalate issues to vendors as appropriate.
- Accurately use the request ticketing and time tracking system, and maintain service levels
- Maintain and support internal and third-party software packages and escalate issues to vendors or in-house developers as appropriate
- Build and deploy technology infrastructure to assist and automate maintenance, security, and deployment processes
- Research and resolve problems within the scope of responsibility, escalating to appropriate departmental staff any issues that may adversely impact systems
- Identify processes and procedures that can be automated and make recommendations to test and monitor systems’ performance
**Skills and Qualifications**:
- Completed a university degree or equivalent related work experience. A degree in Computer Science or Engineering is an asset
O Microsoft SQL Server
O Microsoft SharePoint (On-prem and/or Online)
O Internet Information Server
- Are experienced and knowledgeable in information technology information library (ITIL) methodologies is an asset.
- Have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced technical or network operations role within a technical support environment; financial services or FinTech industry experience is an asset.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to work independently, with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of system integration technologies: You should have in-depth knowledge of system integration technologies such as middleware, web services, API integration, message queues, and data integration.
- Experience with databases: You should have experience in working with SQL Server
- Knowledge of Script writing: SQL, PowerShell, etc.
- Knowledge of development life cycle (an asset)
- Experience with deployment Process and Release Management (an asset)
- Understanding of cloud computing: Understanding of cloud computing technologies, such as Microsoft Azure (an asset)
- Experience with Dynamics 365 CRM, Power Apps, Power BI (an asset)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills: You should have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Attention to detail: You should be able to pay close attention to details as system integration requires a high level of accuracy.

**Salary Range**: $68,000 - 85,000/yr
