**Director of Childcare Program**
We are looking for a leader to join our management team. Looking for an upbeat, dedicated individual for our program that cares for children 0-6 years old. We are open Monday to Friday year round 6:00am-6:00pm. This is a program with a capacity of 144 children.
Looking for an individual to provide a professional environment and help build the program to capacity.
**What You Need**:
- Level 3 Alberta Early Childhood Education required
- First Aid & CPR
- Criminal Record Clearance & Vulnerable Sector Search
- Food Safety certification
- Class 4 license (have or willing to obtain)
- Management experience

As Director you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the centre in a professional manner. Please note that this position will have administration, but is mostly floor based whether for classroom ratio purposes and/or assisting in the classrooms. This can be doing observations, assisting the classroom educators, assisting the children, break coverage, etc. The Director will need to lead by example, maintaining a positive environment in all matters ensuring all employees follow and adhere to all policies and procedures.
As Director your day would include:
- Classroom Guidance (not in ratio, but classroom training and support)
- Parent Engagement
- Team Management (training, hiring, guidance, reviews, etc.)
- Licensing Compliance
- Fire and Health Safety Compliance
- Team & Centre Activities
- Scheduling
- Tours & Registration of New Families
- Classroom Observations
- Budgeting
- Administration (billing, invoices, educator/child hours, etc.)

The Director is responsible to:
- Oversee the maintenance and operations of all facilities within the centre
- Ensure compliance with licensing, health, fire, and all policies/procedures of the company
**Skills**:
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of facility management principles and best practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Childcare Director: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Level 3 Alberta Early Childhood certification (preferred)
