**JOB OVERVIEW**: We are looking for a Low-Voltage Technician to provide effective system installation and high levels of customer service to our clients. We are hiring for both part-time and full-time. The role will involve security camera installation, access control installation, structured cabling, Workstations setup, and Networking hardware installation. Experience in system installation and programming is essential. Security Workers License required. Computer and IT experience would be an asset.
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**:
- Install security hardware, computer hardware, and structured cabling
- Work outside and indoors
- Work on ladders and scissor lifts
- Work in active construction zones
- Support PC’s, Laptops, Printers, Desk Phones, Routers and more.
**WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR**:
- Prior experience in low-voltage installations
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have own vehicle
- Must have own tools, and ladder
- Ability to work independently and prioritize own work to meet tight deadlines
**WORKING CONDITIONS**:
- Mustlive in Vancouer or Lower Mainland. Other areas outside of this will not be considered
- Must have a reliable vehicle and be able to drive to customer locations in Vancouver or Lower Mainland
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20 per week
**Salary**: $24.00-$33.43 per hour
Flexible Language Requirement:
- French not required
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Low voltage: 1 year (required)
Work Location: One location
