**Department Overview**: Motorola Solution's Video Division, is defining the future of the security industry through innovative end-to-end-solutions. We’re changing the landscape of the surveillance industry through advanced award-winning AI based surveillance systems. Artificial Intelligence is transforming the world and our team is advancing the field as it applies to the intersection of computer vision and real-time video analysis. We are proud to be industry leaders in video analytics with features such as Appearance Search and Unusual Motion Detection along with our innovative cloud service platform.

The Technical Publications Team works within the Engineering Department. The products we support include AI-enabled video management software, cameras and accessories, recording hardware and analytics appliances. We author content using MadCap Flare, Adobe Creative Suite, and publish content in XML for the web and embedded Help, and PDF for offline use. Expertise in these tools, experience developing web content, an interest in the technologies our products utilize is an advantage, but not a requirement.
**We are looking for a technical writer who has recently entered the profession to join our awesome technical documentation team and take their career to the next level.

This is a role with opportunity, working in the technical documentation team to innovate new and better ways to craft and present content, and across the organization to contribute to improving our customers’ experience with our evolving software and hardware product lines. We work with electrical, mechanical and software engineers, product management, customer support, marketing and sales people on this mission. We research and craft technical information into manuals, web-based documents, and embedded user assistance technology for nontechnical and technical users. Our work is translated into multiple languages for products to support our global customers located in over 120 countries.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Business Writing, or similar degree.
