**Overview**:
As a Controller at Best Builders, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial activities and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. You will utilize our SAP ERP system daily to manage financial data, conduct analyses, and support decision-making processes. Your expertise in financial management and ERP systems will be crucial in maintaining the company's financial health and supporting its growth objectives.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Financial Reporting**:

- Prepare and present accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.

**Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Develop and manage the company's annual budget.
- Monitor and analyze budget variances, providing insights and recommendations for cost control and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with project managers to create project-specific budgets and forecasts.

**Financial Analysis**:

- Perform financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.

**SAP ERP Management**:

- Utilize the SAP ERP system to manage financial data and processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely data entry and maintenance within the ERP system.
- Train and support staff in using the SAP ERP system effectively.

**Internal Controls and Compliance**:

- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors during financial audits.

**Cash Management**:

- Oversee cash flow management and forecasting.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Optimize the company's cash position and working capital.

**Team Leadership**:

- Supervise and mentor the finance team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Support professional development and training of team members.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP system is essential.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
