The Metal Finishing Clerk is responsible for polishing and preparing pipe surfaces in accordance with the company's drawings and quality standards, and in compliance with safety standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Polish parts with a pneumatic polisher or polishing machine, using the degrees of abrasion specified in the procedure
- Perform finishing welds
- Remove defects and sharp edges from product surfaces.
- Check stock levels of finishing supplies and forward supply requisitions to purchasing department.
- Check quantities and respect raw material classification system in storage area.
- Enter information into ERP system
- Oil pneumatic tools
- Comply with safety standards and keep work area clean and tidy
- Perform all other related tasks

**Skills and Competencies**:

- Manual dexterity
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read technical drawings
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to read and express oneself in French or English

**Experience and Training**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- DEP in welding considered an asset
