Accountable to the Director of Quality Assurance and Community Development, the Community Activation Supervisor will be responsible for program staff as designated, ensuring services meet the physical, emotional, social and health and safety needs of the people receiving services, and that services provided are adequate to meet the needs of the persons supported.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Hire, orientate, evaluate, discipline, supervise program staff.
- Recruit External Professionals to offer Community Based Programs,
- Oversee and evaluate Community Activation operations.
- Develop and implement program enhancements.
- Coordinate, meet and facilitate with participants, families and community stakeholders.
- Manage staff schedule and related matters.
- Act as an on-call component to all Agency programs on a rotational basis.
- Support the development and implementation of marketing strategies.
- Assist the agency in developing community presence; informally and formally.
- Liaison and build bridges with community Agencies, Businesses, Boards of Education
- Coordinate and implement the Admission/Discharge of people to
- Programs.
- Assists in developing, monitoring, and coordinating programs, Lifestyle Plan and Case Conferences
- Ensure that volunteerism and pre-employment opportunities are discovered and secured for individuals within our programs.

**Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation, or Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Disabilities field or Social Services.
- First Aid and CPR certificates must be in current status
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License
- 3-5 years Supervisory Experience
- Up to date Computer Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
