Assistant Camp Cook

Vancouver, Canada Apex Reforestation Full time

One position available for an assistant camp cook in our tree planting camp. Work season runs from mid-April to mid-August. Must be willing to commit to the full season length. This is a remote camp job - you will be living in a tent (your own personal tent) in our tree planting camp, in various locations in the woods in northern BC. During the season cooks have no expenses.

Cooks work roughly 7 days on 1 day off (the day off is paid full wages). However there is always the strong possibility of working more than 7 days consecutively. This is a full-on, highly demanding position. But for the right kind of person it can be fun and rewarding - there’s no experience quite like tree planting camp

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3.5 months

**Salary**: $225.00 per day

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift

Work Location: One location

Expected start date: 2023-05-01
