**Full-Time Scheduling Coordinator**

Community Care Durham is seeking a Scheduling Coordinator to support the day-to-day provision of client services; and participates as an effective member of the Community Care team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Scheduling volunteers and CCD Fleet paid van drivers in at all CCD Hubs for the provision of transportation
- Scheduling transportation service volunteers
- Communicating new assignments and/or schedules changes to transportation service staff and volunteers
- Identifying and addressing transportation scheduling issues (i.e., cancellations and no shows, etc.,)
- Providing support and assistance with transportation schedule problem solving to team members
- Entering all transportation scheduling data into CCD database(s) in a timely manner and ensures that all data is accurate and complete

**Qualifications required**:

- Post-Secondary Diploma/education in Office Administration, logistics, or related field
- 1 Year experience in Office Administration is an asset
- 1 Year experience in Scheduling Staff
- Strong logístical, critical thinking, problem solving and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good working knowledge of the principles of community support services including community, mental health and gerontology, and volunteer management
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Sensitivity to adults with needs related to aging, physical and/or mental health
- Must work in a safe manner and promote the health and safety of all staff, volunteers, clients and the community as outlined within CCD policies

**Compensation**:Starting at $38,000 annually; three (3) weeks’ vacation per year of work (pro-rated to hours worked); 9 paid (including stat) holidays, 3 float days; health, insurance, and pension benefits when eligible.
- Pay will be commensurate based on education and experience
