- based company with 4 warehouses, transportation yard and a head office, headquartered in Vaughan, Ontario with over 200 employees.

We are currently looking for a **Warehouse Cleaner** who has pride in ownership and an upbeat attitude to join our great Warehouse team. Past Warehouse cleaning experience is an **asset. **The hours for this position are from 5:45am to 2:15pm.

**WAREHOUSE CLEANING RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Keep the building in clean and orderly condition. Perform heavy cleaning duties.
- Wash walls and glass.
- Clean snow or debris from sidewalk.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing.
- Use electrically powered scrubbing and polishing machines to burnish, scrub, polish, and spray clean floors (after receiving proper instruction and training).
- Perform Forklift Battery inspections, clean batteries and ensure proper water levels.
- Service, cleaning, and supply restrooms.
- Empty waste bins or similar receptacles transport waste material to designated collection points.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.

**WAREHOUSE CLEANER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Proven working experience as a cleaner
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to use scrubbers, sweepers etc.
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Knowledge of forklift batteries (past cleaning and inspection experience considered an asset or ability to learn process)
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets and WHMIS
- Integrity
- Pride of ownership in role; attention to detail
- High school diploma
- **MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENCE AND ACCESS TO A RELIABLE VEHICLE** as the location is not easy to get to via public transit in the early hours.
