The Desjardins Group Monitoring Office (DGMO) is responsible for carrying out strategic audit mandates in the various sectors of Desjardins Group. As an internal auditor in regulatory compliance and governance, you contribute to audit activities in order to provide the organization with assurance on the degree of control of its operations, preserve its value and help create its added value.

You will assume a leadership role with the various stakeholders in the context of audit files and projects related to compliance management and the fight against money laundering, financial crime and fraud management. These mandates are strategic, highly complex and cross-functional to the organization. The nature of the files requires extensive and in-depth knowledge in your field of specialization. There are many linkages and you are called upon to interact with a large number of stakeholders working in various fields of expertise. Interpersonal skills are essential.

As an internal auditor, you are responsible for planning the mandate, coordinating and carrying out the work and ensuring its quality. You will formulate value-added recommendations related to the mandates carried out and communicate the results of your work to the appropriate authorities. You act as a consultant and content expert in your field of expertise and act as a resource person and coach.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field- A minimum of eight years of relevant experience

Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered.- CIA or CPA designation (an asset)- CAMS certification - Certified anti-money laundering specialist (an asset)- For vacant positions available in Quebec, please note that knowledge of French is required.
