Joseph Brant Hospital (JBH) is a full-service community teaching hospital located in the growing and thriving community of Burlington, Ontario, serving more than 185,000 residents in Halton, Hamilton, Waterdown, Flamborough, Milton and Stoney Creek. JBH is a Clinical Education site in conjunction with McMaster University, and designated as an Academic Community Teaching Hospital. Its expanded campus includes the state-of-the-art Michael Lee-Chin & Family Patient Tower, featuring a new Emergency Department, 295 acute inpatient beds, 9 new Operating Rooms, and post-anaesthetic care unit to support expanded medical, surgical, and outpatient services. JBH is also a partner member of the Burlington Ontario Health Team (OHT).

**AS A TIME AND ATTENDANCE ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL**:

- Maintain time and attendance system with pertinent employee data such as employee changes and new manager set up that ensures proper timecard generation, reporting, and access to self-service.
- Conduct ongoing management and configuration of the Kronos system in order to meet changing business requirements.
- Perform daily/weekly employee record maintenance in Kronos and supports data requirements.
- Act as a primary contact for assigned function with outside organizations or other departments, while responding to technical and administrative questions and ensures necessary follow up
- Ensure Kronos system is current and maintained to ensure accurate employee records
- Create and/or run reports to support various HR and Payroll operational activities and internal customers.
- Identify and recommend system enhancements to improve data integrity or process efficiencies.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations to rectify system and/or operational issues
- Actively participate in system implementations and/or upgrades.
- Partner with the technology team to build systems infrastructure required to collect and interface with HR data, offer actionable analysis and reporting to management, and interface with HR and other business functions to identify their data requirements.
- Perform assigned work in a manner that complies with Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations, as well as JBH policies and procedures.

**Qualifications**:

- A post-secondary degree or diploma in Business Administration or equivalent
- Minimum 2-4- years’ experience in similar role
- Previous working experience with Kronos is required
- Advanced skills in MS Office and experience with Medi-HR and Meditech an asset
- Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Superior organizational and time-management skills with the ability to adapt to constantly changing priorities and requests from various stakeholders
- Inspires performance excellence
- Demonstrated ability to adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
