We are looking for a Reporting Officer to support our Policy, Strategy and Performance branch. The Reporting Officer would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.

The Reporting Officer will work as part of a highly collaborative team and provide leadership for NRC’s corporate and research centre planning and reporting processes. He/she serves in advisory capacity on reporting issues and promotes continuous improvement for how the NRC responds to Parliamentary planning and reporting process and corporate planning cycle activities.

To support NRC’s effective planning and reporting processes, the Reporting Officer maintains relationships with central agencies and key stakeholders across the NRC, sets timelines, develops supporting tools and ensures organizational requirements are met.

The position requires the ability to think and communicate strategically, work well in teams, and build and maintain positive internal and external relationships with stakeholders.

**Screening Criteria**:
**Education**:
College diploma in business, economics, public administration, science, engineering or related discipline.

**Experience**:

- Experience in corporate or business planning and reporting.
- Experience in conducting analysis, synthesis and leveraging qualitative and quantitative information for the preparation of reports.
- Experience in building relationships and working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience preparing documents/reports, presentations and briefing materials.

**Assets**:

- Experience in engaging with Government of Canada central agencies would be considered an asset.
