**WONDERING WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?**
Your role will require you to bring a high standard of scientific excellence to your daily work. These responsibilities will be in your domain:
- Managing, organizing, and repairing of environmental field sampling equipment.
- Ensuring all equipment is maintained and tracked according to the company’s standard operating practices.
- Sourcing, packing, and purchasing equipment to support numerous and competing field-based environmental data collection programs.
- Coordinating equipment use between multiple equipment locations.
**THE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR.**
- Post-secondary education (technical diploma or certificate) would be an asset, but not required.
- Experience with maintaining and repairing equipment.
- Equipment/warehouse inventory experience.
- Knowledge of scientific equipment such as water quality meters, electrofishers, hydrometric equipment is an asset.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite.
- Experience planning, coordinating, and maintaining project and resource schedules.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced project environment.
- A flexible schedule and the ability to accommodate seasonal work demands.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, excellence, and ethics.
- Effective communicator with strong inter-personal skills.
- Reliable, well-organized, motivated, and self-managed
Hours can vary depending on availability of work and time of year. We will aim to give the successful applicant full time work during our busy periods but this might range from 25-40hr per week.
