Right now, we are looking to hire a Security Administrator to join our IT team, based out of one of our **western Canada branch locations**.
**AS OUR IT SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR, YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE TO**:
- Ensuring that data migration is secure (and appropriately backed up)
- Monitoring data behavior for abnormal activities
- Implementing security policies
- Testing company’s systems to locate potential risks and vulnerabilities
- Reporting security statuses and incidents (if any)
- Analyzing and configuring corporate systems to improve their security
- Analyzing data loss prevention measures
- Coordinate regular audits to detect system vulnerabilities and implement continuous hardening
- Verifying security, availability, and confidentiality of corporate data
- All other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:
- Related University Degree, College Diploma, or formal certification in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or related field
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, etc. are valued
- 3+ years of experience in an IT Security Administration role
