Role Overview:
A WW Coach channels a passion for a healthy lifestyle into inspiring others at every step of their wellness journeys. Our Coaches help members develop healthy habits by eating healthier, while still enjoying foods they love, moving more, sleeping better, and shifting their mindset. You will bring your personal energy to the workshop and outreach approaches with members to inspire and build an inclusive, in-person community. You will facilitate a branded, member-focused workshop centred on wellness, weight loss, and building healthy habits.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver An Exceptional Workshop Experience by:
- Creating an inclusive, engaging and action-oriented community-
- Facilitating inspiring workshop experiences for members including member-to-member interactions and discussions to foster a sense of community-
- Establishing rapport with members and showing empathy during one-on-one interactions and group facilitation, creating a personalized experience for each member-
- Sharing knowledge and understanding of WW digital tools and offerings-
- Opening and closing Studios, may require some set up for the in-person workshopsBuild Strong Connections In the Community and Ensure Members feel Seen, Heard, and Supported by:
- Responding to members’ virtual community posts with purpose, encouraging members to reflect, learn, problem solve and create action plans-
- Using external social media and other outreach approaches to engage with the WW community-
- Representing WW at internal and external community events, when requiredFocus on Member Recruitment and Retention by:
- Actively seeking opportunities to build on-brand partnerships and create brand awareness-
- Identifying our members’ needs and recommending the right WW products or services-
- Leveraging the relationships you will make with our members and the broader community to drive engagement with WW offerings-
- Leveraging social media to attract new members and build workshop attendanceDeliver Behaviour Change Coaching by:
- Inspiring members to build healthy habits using behaviour change coaching principles-
- Using behaviour change techniques and serving as an expert in WW’s scientifically proven methodology for building healthy habits, weight loss and holistic wellness-
- Engaging with members empathetically, demonstrating positive regard, respect and understanding for where they are on their journey.-
- Coaching members on scientifically proven behaviour change strategies and how to better leverage their internal resources and external support to reach their wellness goals-
- Guiding members to develop awareness of their eating, activity, sleep and mindset patterns-
- Assisting members in identifying small behavioural shifts to move them closer to their goals.We want to hear from you if you are:
- Passionate about wellness and either a current WW member or excited to become one-
- Able to live the WW lifestyle and be authentically committed to health and wellness-
- Experienced facilitating large groups and coaching 1:1-
- Empathetic and excited about building rapport and relationships with our members-
- Genuinely committed to supporting and inspiring others in achieving their wellness and weight-loss goals-
- Place a high value on encouraging sustainable, science-backed approaches to wellness-
- Savvy with social media across a variety of platforms-
- Able to access a desktop or laptop and willingness to use other smart devices-
- Have advanced computer skills-
- Comfortable working with mínimal supervision-
- Able to attend required training sessions both in-person and virtually-
- Able to travel to a variety of workshop locations within the territory-
- Able to lift 25 pounds to stock shelves with consumer products-
