The MD Program trains the next generation of doctors by delivering a comprehensive learning experience to our students. We have been at the fore front of medical education innovation and scholarship, as well as life-changing health research and innovation, since we were established in 1843. Residing in the MD Program, the Curriculum Office supports the development and implementation of the MD Program curriculum to students. Embedded in the MD Program curriculum is Portfolio, a 4 year component/course that focuses on critical reflection, physician identity and student wellbeing. The MD Program has over 1000 students who are situated at one of two university campuses. They are further organized into one of four academies which are comprised of a cluster of affiliated hospitals across the GTA.

As Curriculum and Projects Coordinator, you will support the Curriculum Office through the development, planning, delivery and evaluation of curriculum across the four years of the program, with a focus on Portfolio. Your strong communication skills, ability to maintain excellent relationships, and project coordination experience will serve as a strong foundation in this fast-paced role. With a keen interest and a strong aptitude for navigating various learning technologies, you will leverage your problem-solving skills and your ability to adapt to changing circumstances to ensure a successful delivery of our courses.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Acting as the first point of contact for students and faculty, and providing detailed information on the Portfolio as well as other MD Program courses
- Coordinating tasks for projects and other strategic initiatives with stakeholders
- Coordinating the development and maintenance of online course information and organizing and circulating course evaluations, including monitoring student progress
- Advising students on course requirements by exploring their unique situations and providing a range of options and possible outcomes
- Supporting students by understanding the course reporting structure and knowing how to escalate concerns to appropriate faculty when needed
- Providing committee support and coordinating event logistics
- Providing support in resolving technical issues and escalating problems as required
- Analyzing service delivery and internal processes, and making recommendations for improvement

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
- Minimum three years of related, progressively responsible administrative experience in a university, medical school, teaching hospital or comparable environment
- Experience interpreting and advising students on policies and requirements
- Experience coordinating time-sensitive projects and managing multiple priorities
- Demonstrated experience supporting committees and coordinating events, including the implementation of virtual platforms
- Experience collecting and synthesizing information and preparing surveys
- Experience coordinating events and fostering positive working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Demonstrated commitment to and understanding of the importance of student wellbeing and the learner environment
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Suite,MS Teams, Adobe Acrobat Professional, Web Conferencing platforms (Zoom, Teams), student information systems (MedSIS) and learning and content management systems
- Superior ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing that demonstrates effective and accurate relay of information for knowledge translation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to keep others on track in a collaborative manner
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills, with an ability to exercise patience, good judgment and discretion
