**Reports to**: Plant Care Supervisor
**Position Summary**:

- paced work environment. The Plant Care Technician will work closely with the Plant Care Supervisor in tending to a devoted area of the operation.
This position requires physical demands such as reaching, bending, walking, standing, performing repetitive work and lifting to 50 lbs;
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Various crop care, including transporting, de-leafing, pruning, watering, pinching and also harvesting plants;
- Installs and adjusts trellis for optimal cannabis growth and according to standard;
- Carefully monitors the health of the plants for proper care;
- Responsible for general housekeeping of production area;
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment, and work areas, etc as per Health Canada standards;
- Organizes and maintains materials, restocks supplies when needed;
- Prepares reports and general documentation as required;
- Successful completion of Fall Arrest and Scissor Lift Operation training
- Proper adherence to and maintenance of PPE (bump cap, cut resistant gloves, eyewear)
- Maintain job skills by ensuring that current best practices reflect departmental WIs.
- Understand and follow departmental best practices and WIs when assigned as support.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.

- Capable of working both independently and on a team;
- Good communication skills both written and verbal;

- Comfortable working at heights, and in hot, cold or humid environments
