JOB SUMMARY

As the Learning and Development Specialist you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive learning and development programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives. Also, effectively assess training needs, develop engaging content, and deliver learning experiences for employees at all levels.

HERE’S HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE:
1. Training Needs Assessment:
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training requirements across various departments and levels within the organization.- Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business objectives and align learning initiatives with strategic goals.

2. Content Development:
- Design and develop high-quality learning materials, including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, and other resources.- Utilize instructional design principles and adult learning theory to create engaging and effective training content.- Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive exercises, and simulations to enhance learning outcomes.- Experience using Learning Authoring tools such as Adobe Pro, Articulate Rise, and similar.- Strong knowledge of Accessibility standards and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) guidelines.

3. Program Evaluation:
- Develop and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness and impact of learning initiatives.- Gather feedback from participants and stakeholders to continuously improve training programs.- Analyze data and generate reports to track key performance indicators and measure ROI.

4. Learning Technology Management:
- Manage the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), including course enrollment, user management, course management and reporting.

5. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to leverage resources and expertise.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field.- Proven experience (5+ years) in instructional design, LMS management and curriculum development.- Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design models, and learning technologies (such as Articulate Rise and similar authoring tools).- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.- Strong analytical skills and the ability to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.- Strong understanding of Accessibility Practices in accordance with WCAG.- Proficiency in learning management systems and other learning technologies.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
