**About Shining Through Centre**

The Shining Through Centre is a recognized leader in the field of autism, providing service excellence in therapy, education, research, and awareness to children and their families. We provide intensive, comprehensive, and individualized therapeutic and educational programs to each of our children based on the principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

**About our IBI Program**

The IBI program provides ABA therapy for learners from 2 - 12 years of age with the goal of improving a child's development and rate of learning in their cognitive, language and adaptive skills. We provide programming across all relevant learning domains including adaptive skills, feeding, toileting, communication, social and school readiness.

**Position Summary**

Reporting to a Supervised Senior Implementors, the Supervised Implementor is responsible for implementing the individualized goals, objectives and priorities established for learners as well as the collection and reporting of data for their programs

**Major Duties/Responsibilities**
- Works with children, one-on-one and in group settings, to implement individualized behaviour programming developed by the Supervising Therapist
- Daily collection, recording and analysis of data
- Monitors learner progress and communicates to the Supervised Senior Implementors on any matters relating to the development of the Individual Education Plan (IEP)
- Implements individualized Behaviour Management Plans (BMP) for learners
- Prepares daily program materials
- Provides daily updates to parents/guardians through an online platform
- Assists in learner self-care
- Participation in off-site field trips
- Attends professional development opportunities and required training provided by Shining Through

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- Experience interacting and working with children ages 2-12
- Experience interacting with individuals on the autism spectrum (and/or other developmental disabilities) is an asset
- Knowledge of Applied Behaviour Analysis is an asset
- Education in a related field e.g. Psychology, Autism and Behavioural Sciences, Early Childhood Education, etc.
- Strong decision making skills to deal with daily learner challenges
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and evaluate program effectiveness
- Ability to move around throughout the day and to engage in physical activity/play with learners
- Ability to function effectively in a rapidly changing environment
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work independently are essential
- Valid driver's licence an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$54,000.00 per year
