**ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE OFFICER**:
The Real Estate and Development Branch is looking for two Accounts Receivable Officers for indeterminate positions. The positions are classified as RÉ-04 ($59,364 to $75,591 per annum; 2021 rate of pay under review).

**JOB OVERVIEW**
If you are looking to broaden your skill set and gain valuable experience in the accounting field, our Real Estate and Development Branch is currently looking for two Accounts Receivable Officers to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

As an Accounts Receivable Officer you will coordinate the accounts receivable function for tenant accounts, including verification of deposits, invoicing, and collection; you will review the age of accounts receivable and suggests appropriate action. You will also collaborate with the corporate finance team to ensure consistency in financial processes and procedures.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**
Successful completion of a secondary school diploma.

**EXPERIENCE**
Three to five years of experience in accounts receivable, including:
- identifying problem accounts, investigating, and resolving issues relating to invoices, payment discrepancies, and account reconciliation;
- monitoring accounts receivable aging and proactively communicating with clients for payments.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Of property management, leasing, and related administration practices.
- Of financial leasing management related to terms and conditions in commercial and residential leasing agreements.
- Of billing, collections procedures, and accounts receivable processes.

**ABILITIES**
- To quickly identify problems and present options and solutions for resolution.
- To work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- To establish priorities and manage concurrent tasks to meet deadlines.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Possess or eligible to obtain Reliability security clearance.
- Linguistic profile: Bilingual BBB; Unilingual English or French.
- Position is in the National Capital Region. The person selected for this position must reside within a commutable distance from the workplace at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
- The National Capital Commission offers a hybrid and flexible work environment, all employees are currently asked to work on-site at least two (2) days per week.
