**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- Prepare project documentation including Project Start-up, Scheduling, Contract Administration, Shop Drawing Control, Monthly Progress Billing, Invoice Approvals, Change Orders, Status and Budget Reports, Deficiency Lists, and Substantial Completion Documentation.
- Provide ongoing management and follow-up of the project ensuring schedules, budget and deadlines are being met.
- Ensure all aspects of site safety and quality control are met.
- Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with clients, trade contractors and consultants.
- Attend monthly site meetings.
- Monitor and track progress for each project.
- Risk Management to minimize project risk.

**YOUR QUALITIES INCLUDE**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a project manager in the construction of industrial, commercial, and institutional projects.
- Proven multi-tasking skills combined with a track record of managing multiple projects while ensuring the delivery of the projects on time and budget.
- Demonstrated ability to identify, analyze and expedite resolutions to challenges during all phases of construction.
- Strong Project Management and Cost Control skills.
- Motivated, energetic, self-starter and enthusiastic.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with excellent time management, problem solving, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.
- Excellent contract document interpretation and blueprint reading skills.
- Strong leadership and team building skills with the ability to work with owners, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Willing to travel if required.
- Understanding commercial construction practices, processes and techniques.
- Computer Knowledge and work experience with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Project.
- Jonas Premier or similar construction software experience is an asset.
- College or technical degree in Construction related disciplines or equivalent related experience would be an asset.
