**What you can expect from your first 6 months**:

- Access to a mentoring program designed to advance your skillset as it applies to the industrial settings which we deploy our TELIA system;
- Cross-functional orientation across our diverse teams and core TELIA components;
- Coordinate cross-functionally with a diverse skillset to ensure project, PLC and HMI programs and TELIA product offering delivers the best in high tech automation and optimization.

**What you can expect in your next 6 months**:

- Work closely with Senior PLC programmers to design and document robust industrial automation control systems;
- Develop, test, and support PLC and HMI programs as part of an industrial automation system;
- Work closely with business analysts and product development lead to gather requirements and document the solution process;
- Work closely with software developers to design, document and test system architecture and sub-system interfaces;
- Work closely with electrical engineers to design, implement, and improve electrical equipment and components;
- Travel to customer facilities to perform system integration testing and system commissioning;
- Remote support of customer sites, post installation to maintain a 24/7 support system availability
- Develop and implement new R&D per our technology road map
- Perform after-hours technical PLC support as assigned.

**What you should have**:
We are looking for passionate, hard-working, and self-motivated PLC programmers who bring fresh ideas to our Electrical Controls/PLC team. The successful applicants will be those that demonstrate superior problem-solving skills, outstanding communication skills and excellent leadership skills.
- Degree/Diploma in Automation/Electrical Engineering or related field;
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in automation/electrical engineering
- Site installation and commissioning experience necessary;
- Experience programming and testing PLC’s/HMI’s (Allen-Bradley, RSLogix5000/500, RS Studio);
- Strong knowledge of control networks (Ethernet/IP);
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams;
- Comfortable with working at heights;
- Ability to travel extensively;
- Excellent technical communication with peers and non-technical cohorts;
- Strong problem-solving skills;
- Ability to successfully work within a high-performance environment;
- Professional, customer focused.
