**Hours**: _**We are looking for someone who can work 1-2 part time shifts per week, and help cover holidays/sick days. **_(With potential for additional hours in near future)_

**Compensation**: Hourly Pay

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrator to join our team. The Medical Administrator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our clinic. Responsibilities include administrative tasks, coordinating patient appointments, maintaining medical records, and providing excellent customer service to patients and their families.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including answering phones, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries.
- Coordinate patient appointments and maintain the appointment scheduling system (JaneApp).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing.
- Coordinate communication between practitioners, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing any concerns or inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, electronic medical record (EMR) systems (JaneApp), Telus Health and Provider Connect is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and follow instructions effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Ability to work unsupervised and/or with a team.
