**Overview of the Position**
**Key accountabilities of the role include**:
- Maintaining a solid and current knowledge of Princess Auto's strategy, strategic initiatives and any other changes that impact the IT architecture
- Developing and maintaining architecture documentation
- Stay at the cutting edge of technology trends and bring fresh ideas and concepts to the table.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand their specific business requirements and develop IT solutions using SaaS based products
- Ensuring the architecture design continues to be adjusted, optimized, and integrated with future business requirements and serves to reduce IT complexity and lower system implementation and operational costs
- Ensuring a seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure and integrity
**To be successful in the role, you will need**:
- Post-secondary education in computer science or equivalent experience
- Project management experience an asset
- Knowledge of SaaS and cloud first app Integrations
- Excellent use of tools such as Visio to create architectural and context diagrams
- Familiarity with ETL procedures and design, as well as the ability to recognize system impacts and best practices for implementing new solutions
- Knowledge of all components of enterprise architecture such as information technology ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, APIs, etc.
- Experience driving short-term actions that are consistent with long-term goals
