Applied Industrial Technologies is currently seeking and has an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of **Service Administrator** at our **Edmonton, AB **Shop location.
- Work in a safe manner, lead by example and contribute to overall company safety
- Accurate preparation and tracking of service and production orders and order entry
- Procurement, coordination and expediting of consumables, raw material and inventory to maximize profitability, achieve deadlines and satisfy customer requirements
- Ensure accurate costing of all parts and services required to complete orders
- Communication with customers and vendors professionally and confidently
- Procurement and expediting of components and services, identify opportunities to
- Data entry, organization and filing related orders and other relevant information within standards of repair shop facility, both manually and electronically as required
- Ability to communicate clearly with both internal customers
- Work in a team environment to efficiently achieve a high standard of quality and service to Applied’s extensive customer base
- Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred)
- Related service experience in a shop environment
- Experience with procurement and inventory management best practices
- General understanding of steel components, properties and related welding and machining procedures.
- Service orientated with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.
- Ability to prioritize and number of tasks and complete a variety of work assignments within structured deadlines.
- Extremely high level of attention to detail and strong root cause analysis skill.
- Ability to use both written and verbal skills to effectively communicate technical information.
