JOB DESCRIPTION: Laurus is looking for 1 individual to join its fun and dynamic team of Animators for its After-School Program at a private elementary school in Westmount

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (but are not limited to)
- Managing a group of 10 to 15 elementary aged children (Grades KG - 3)- Creating and implementing 10-week lesson plans- Creating and maintaining a fun and dynamic learning environment- Taking attendance- Solving problems if they arise- Ensuring the safety of children- Communicating with parents
- Reporting directly to the Program Coordinator

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Knowledge and experience in multiple extracurricular activities- Experience working with children- Experience in classroom management, strong asset
- Experience delivering lesson plans

**Job Type**: Contractual - 10 weeks
- Job Type: Contractual

Flexible Language Requirement:

- English (required)
- French (preferred)

Schedule:

- 1 hour shift- Tuesday from 4:00pm to 5:00pm EST
- Beginning of Contract: Week of December 11th, 2023

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Westmount, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
