**The Opportunity**

Leavitt Machinery is looking for an enthusiastic **Field Technician** to join our team in **Kitchener, Ontario.** Reporting to the Service Manager, the Field Technician will be assigned to critical machinery repair tasks required by our loyal customers.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

As the Field Technician your key responsibilities will include:

- Perform planned maintenance and safety inspections on a variety of material handling equipment
- Conduct tasks assigned from the Dispatcher, maintaining communication and providing updates as needed
- Adequately diagnose and repair heavy machinery and lift equipment as required by customers
- Maintain proper documentation as needed

**Required Skills & Qualifications**
- Driver’s license required
- Relevant Provincial Trade Certification
- Possession of a 310S Automotive Technician, 310T Truck Technician, or a 282E Powered Lift Truck Technician certification an asset
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with external customers and internal stakeholders
- Ability to travel to customer sites within the local region
