BBTV seeks a dynamic and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Manager focused on engaging our creators and building communities in the premium sports & entertainment vertical. As the Community Manager, you will be pivotal in building and nurturing communities for our creators and their audiences/fans by creating online strategies and offline/in-person activities tied to tent pole events. If you have a deep understanding of the sports & entertainment landscape, a knack for building communities & connections, and a passion for social media, this is an exciting opportunity for you.
**Responsibilities**:
**Community Strategy & Engagement**:
- Foster a positive and active online and offline community by interacting with our creators, audiences/fans, and followers across various social media platforms.-
- Create, manage and execute a 12-month community-building program calendar that consists of both online community building initiatives (ie Discord) plus offline/in-person events (ie organizing creator get togethers) tied to tent poles of our partners like the NBA and industry events.-
- Monitor community discussions, respond to inquiries, and address concerns promptly and professionally.-
- Organize and participate in in-person community events, contests, and initiatives to enhance engagement.-
- Recognize and reward active community members to encourage continued participation.-
- Track event success through participant feedback and other relevant metrics, adjusting future events based on insights gained.**Creator Management**:
- You will closely collaborate with our Sports & Entertainment Key Account team who manage the relationship with our creators, to create community strategies that will deliver value to our BBTV creators.-
- Collaborate with content creators to develop engaging and unique content that aligns with the brand's messaging and values.-
- Provide ongoing support and communication to nurture long-term partnerships.**Content Strategy**:
- Work closely with internal teams to develop and execute content strategies that resonate with our creators.-
- Collaborate with our creators to align their content with BBTV marketing campaigns and brand initiatives.-
- Provide feedback to internal teams based on community response and preferences.**Data Analysis**:
- Develop, track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to community engagement and reach.-
- Utilize data insights to refine strategies, identify trends, and make informed decisions.**Brand Advocacy**:
- Encourage creators to become BBTV brand advocates by aligning with the BBTV's values and promoting positive sentiment within their communities.-
- Work to amplify BBTV brand messages through partnerships with key creators and community leaders.**Collaboration and Integration**:
- Work closely with other BBTV departments (ie Content Management, R&D/Product Team, Ad Sales, Marketing) to ensure community activities are aligned with overall business objectives.-
- Serve as the voice of the community within the organization, sharing insights and feedback that can inform product development, marketing strategies, and customer support initiatives.**Requirements**:
- Expert in building communities, social media and the Creator Economy-
- Proven experience with community building online platforms (ie Discord)-
- Proven experience with creating and managing offline/in-person events to build community-
- Proven experience in community management and creator engagement, preferably within the sports or entertainment industry.-
- Strong knowledge and passion for sports including the NBA.-
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.-
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.-
- Familiarity with social media platforms (YouTube), trends, and analytics tools.**Why BBTV**:
