**Job Title: Childcare Worker**

**/Part-time (25 - 30 Hours Regular - 40 During Spring/Summer Break)**

**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and engage with children in a variety of age groups.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Create a safe and secure environment for children, following health and safety guidelines.
- Maintain open and effective communication with parents and guardians.
- Collaborate with the team to develop and maintain a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Attend team training sessions and workshops to enhance professional development.
- Monitor and document children's progress, behavior, and any significant incidents when required.

**Qualifications**:

- **Preference will be given towards applicants with Class 5 Drivers license as we are needing more drivers for events**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent; Early Childhood Education (ECE) certification preferred.
- **Required**:CPR C and First Aid certification (8 hour course).
- **Required**:Must be able to work outside in varying weather conditions and be able to lift 20lbs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with children and contributing to their development.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude.
