At aKin, our Polisher is an essential member of the team, dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of service and presentation. As a Polisher, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining the pristine appearance of our glassware, cutlery, and dishware, contributing to the elegant ambiance and overall guest experience. This is a detail-oriented position that supports both the front and back-of-house operations, working closely with the service and kitchen teams to ensure every piece of tableware meets our rigorous standards.

**The Day-to-Day**:

- Thoroughly polish and inspect glassware, cutlery, and dishware to ensure they are spotless and gleaming
- Assist with organizing and storing polished items in their proper locations for seamless service
- Work closely with the dishwashing team to manage the flow of clean and polished items during service
- Assist in setting and resetting tables to ensure polished items are placed perfectly
- Handle delicate and fine materials with care, including high-end glassware and custom tableware
- Follow strict cleanliness and hygiene guidelines to meet aKin’s service standards
- Support the front-of-house team in maintaining the restaurant’s polished, refined ambiance
- Perform other duties or responsibilities as required by the Chef, General Manager, or Restaurant Manager

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a high-end restaurant environment or as a polisher is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work efficiently and manage time in a fast-paced setting
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Willingness to learn and contribute to the success of the team
- Ability to handle delicate items with care and precision
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
